Katayk awakens at the sound of Sadik's name. He scans the cafe quickly and grunts when he sees no one of interest. "And who might you be?" Katayk stands and walks over towards MCC, looking him in the eye cautiously.

"Meh...." With a feeble little sigh, Requiem gets to his feet and saunters over to a vacated barstool, where he settles himself along with a jingle of metal obects. Apparently, he might wish a bit of something to wet his throat, or maybe a bite to eat... But then he remembers what he's always done, and simply clambors over the counter to begin rummaging through various shelves and cabinents until he recovers a stray box of dragon treats (which he wastes no time in tearing open and eating like potato chips) and a can of Coke. Food in tow, he returns to his sofa with a trail of crumbs marking his trail taken.

Rikali stares at Katayk for a moment. To confront Sadik would be, of course, dangerous...but to let him live was a greater threat. She moves over to join him.

Katayk growled, as he so often did, and turned away from the stranger. He took a seat on the nearby couch while looking for something to keep his attention.

Rikali tosses him one of her daggers. It's part of a game she had made up during long and boring nights. The main objective was to show off your skills. "Here. Teach me something."

Katayk spins the dagger in his hands absent-mindedly. Katayk decides not to teach her any knife play, but instead disply one of his other, almost forgotten talent. He turns to the wall behind him and begins to carve. After several minutes, he moves to reveal a carving of a large dragon. The eyes seemed to shine.

"Yeah. But there's plenty I don't know...like I just get feelings sometimes, like now. It's like I've seen this before. Weird, eh?" She shrugs and moves to run her fingers over the carving.

Katayk knows why she finds the carving so familiar, but feels it better not to tell her. They have enough problems as it is.

She shrugs and turns back around. "Well, then, let me show you something."
She fishes out her second dagger and holds it so that the point is facing the wall. Riki runs her finger down the length. A small, miniture map of Tri-Link's springs up. "Interesting, isn't it? Not that good though. Bought it a while back, salesperson said it would show your surroundings for a couple miles, but it barely shows where you are. Dumb enchantment." |

Katayk draws his sword in the blink of an eye and swing it, but it passes through the fog of the still materializing Sadik. He leaps backwards and speaks to his older brother. "Hurry up and show yourself, I wouldn't be satisfied with killing you in the dark. I want to see you bleed, Sadik."

Riki, startled into action when Katayk's sword nearly skewers her, releases the enchanted dagger at the figure. "Who is that, Katayk?"

Poor baby, always a burden to me, and now you want to get rid of me after all the patience I've had with you? *a transparent figure appears in the smoke, rags hang from his wrists, soaked in blood. The mouth cover is gone and half of his face decayed, all but the right side of his nose, cheek, and eye. Rags are wrapped everywhere, also soaked in blood of others* I've missed you.

Looks can be decieving, ignorant brat. *he chuckles to himself and grins broadly, each one of his teeth razor sharp and jagged* If you want to see what kind of condition I am in... *his form gains color and his body slowley floats down to the ground, he closes his eyes and speaks into Katayks head* ...Then come get me.

Katayk looks around the cafe and notices all the people, including Rikali. He wouldn't let her be hurt. He spoke in his head, knowing that Sadik was reading his thoughts. "Cathedral. I don't want anybody else around. This is just between us." A red fog encircled Katayk and in an instant, he was gone.

Hm...fine then. *the decay on his face quickly encompased his whole body and he falls to ashes and becomes a smoke cloud again, disappearing*

I sure wish there were more people online today... sure does take it away from the cafe just being a place to chat and whatnot when there's nobody here...
Meh, guess I might as well start dusting off my old beanbag-chair in the back... with the football season over I guess I'll be doing a lot of sitting and writing it in. |

Gale slips into the seemingly abandoned cafe. He then hops over the counter and grabs some red wine, it seems he rather just "borrow" some from the cafe then buy any. Not like anyone was gonna fight him over it. "Land reflects the times. .....How pathetic they've all become."

Gale blinks, not sure what to make of Kadino. Though the Abbis seems slightly amused. He poors himself a glass of wine, since none of his enemies are present, he might as well enjoy himself.

Hey, guys? What's up this fine weekend. I'd be playing D2 LoD right now, but my sibling decided that the CD drive wasn't a good place to store CD's one wants to LOSE...
Anyway, what IS going on? I never chat with anyone here anymore... it's really fun just to talk to people, especially in TLC. *Whips out a squashed and dusty beanbag chair from under a floorboard fo the cafe, for the sole puropse of mog-flopping in it lasciviously* |
